CIU

Founded in 1862 the Club & Institute Union (CIU) is regarded as the oldest Club Union in the world.

The CIU is a non-political federation of Clubs, registered as an Industrial and Provident Society.

It is an advisory and 'defensive' organisation and is neutral in matters of politics and religion, whilst open for membership to any bona-fide club. 

The CIU is supported and governed by its member Clubs.
